The best location to discover Marseille
We are located in the Roucas Blanc neighborhood, between the Notre-Dame de la Garde Basilica and Prophète Beach.
It is a particularly quiet area with lush greenery, crisscrossed by numerous winding lanes.
From here, all of Marseille is accessible on foot. The Corniche and Prophète Beach are a 7-minute walk away. « La Bonne Mère » is 15 minutes away. The Old Port is a 35-minute walk via the Saint-Victor district, and the Vélodrome is 45 minutes away.
However, traveling by bus is also an option, with three lines (55, 73, 83) stopping close to the house.

Each room is fully equipped with free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, heating, blackout shutters, a walk-in shower, a private toilet, quality bed linen, 160 cm beds, and a private terrace with a sea view…
Arriving by train
If you arrive by train (at Saint-Charles Station), the taxi ride will take about 15 minutes and cost around 30 euros. There are several public transport alternatives that take approximately 35 minutes. Google Maps provides reliable information, taking schedules into account. We recommend choosing a route that takes you to the Roucas Blanc terminus on bus line 55; you will then have a walk of less than 200 meters (downhill).

If you are arriving by car, please note that GPS systems will direct you to 368 Chemin du Roucas Blanc, 13007 Marseille.
Please be aware that we have only one parking space available on the property. We therefore recommend requesting a reservation for it when booking your room. If the space is already taken, there are usually parking spots available a little further up Chemin du Roucas Blanc.
Please note that getting around and parking in Marseille can be challenging; we therefore recommend traveling on foot or using public transport.
We are Brigitte and Dominique
We are Brigitte and Dominique, a recently retired couple. Our home in Marseille is a labor of love for us. We primarily welcome our children and grandchildren, followed by friends, and finally guests when our spare rooms are available. Above all, we value meaningful connections and warm, friendly moments with our guests. We don’t run a typical « Airbnb » operation; we don’t use lockboxes, and we live in the house during your stay.
